Restore or delete designs and files from Trash
You can restore or delete content within 30 days. Clear everything at once, or manage items one at a time.
It’s a quick way to keep your workspace clean and under control.
Contact Support within 14 days if you need to restore any designs, images, or videos that have been deleted from Trash. After this period, they’ll be permanently deleted and can’t be recovered.
How Trash Works
Design recovery timeline (important)
- While a design is in Trash (up to 30 days)
- Deleted designs stay in Trash for up to 30 days.
- You can restore a design anytime while it’s still in Trash.
- After a design is deleted from Trash (14-day grace period)
- Designs are automatically deleted from Trash after 30 days.
- Once a design is removed from Trash, you have 14 days to contact Support to request a restore (if possible).
- The 14-day grace period starts immediately when the design is removed from Trash.
- After the 14-day grace period
- Designs are permanently deleted and can’t be recovered.
- Images and videos
- Deleted images and videos can’t be restored once deleted from Trash.
- If an image or video is still used in a design, it won’t be fully deleted until the design is removed.

Delete designs or files from your Trash
Empty Trash (delete everything at once)
- From the homepage, select Projects.
- Go to Trash from the expanded menu.
- Select Empty Trash.
- Confirm when prompted.
Note: Emptying Trash permanently deletes every item in Trash.
Restore or delete designs or files from your Trash
Restore or delete individual items
- From the homepage, select Projects.
- Select Trash, choose between the Designs, Images, Videos, or Files tabs.
- Select one or more items.
- Select Restore or Delete in the action bar.
- Confirm when prompted.
Note: Restored designs return to Projects. Restored images and videos return to Uploads.
Need to restore a design after it’s been deleted from the bin?
If a design has been removed from the bin, contact Support within 14 days to request restoration (if possible). After that, it can’t be recovered.
Need to recover earlier changes to an existing design?
Trash is only for fully deleted items. If your design still exists but some changes are missing, use Version History instead.
Troubleshooting
It only appears when there are items in your Trash.
Some images won’t delete
If you've permanently deleted an image or video from your uploads, you may still be able to download it from a design that contains it. Right-click the image or video and select Download selection.
Note: You can't download a single video from a page. As a workaround, add another element to the page, set its transparency to 0%, then download the design.
Undo Empty Trash?
If a design was permanently deleted from Trash by mistake, contact Support within 14 days of deleting it to see if we can restore it.
Deleted images and videos can't be restored. If an image or video was used in an existing design, it will remain part of that design.
What happens to designs when a team is deleted?
When a team is deleted, its designs, folders, uploads, groups, and apps are scheduled for permanent deletion after 14 days. During this period, the team owner can restore the team and its content. After 14 days, recovery is no longer possible due to legal obligations. Team members receive an email notification explaining the recovery period.
If you’re missing designs after a team was deleted, start with Missing designs and contact Support if you still can’t locate them.
